We would like to thank you all for the support which you have given the Parents Council over the school year. We also wish to thank Mrs. Cosgrave, Mrs. O’Rourke and the staff for their continued assistance and support. And the Board of Management for their ongoing support. Just to remember that all parents give their time voluntarily for the benefit of your children so we really do appreciate all the time that parents have provided throughout the year. We wish Mrs. Cosgrave a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing her in September.

December 2016: Letter from Santa
Every pupil received a form in his/her school bag. Santa is updating his database. As our school is on the borders of three counties he is afraid some child might be missed. Therefore he needs details on every child. Santa will reply with a personal letter! The form needs to be posted in Santa's special locked post box by 15 December at the latest.

Please use this form to talk to your children about the need to be careful about giving out personal information to others - even Santa! We would like you to sign the letter to emphasise the need to check with you before giving out personal details.

September 2016: Weekly Split the Pot
Split the Pot is a form of fund raising for the school, organised by the Parents Council. Each week an envelope is sent home with your child. Should you wish to contribute to Split the Pot, write your name on the envelope, put €2 in it and send it back to the school on Thursday or Friday. The draw will take place at Assembly, each Monday. Each week, money from the envelopes is split - with the winner getting half and the school getting the other half. All money that is raised from Split the Pot and other fundraising is put together in order to buy various things for our children in school.

September 2016: Parents' Council Events
Money raised from last year’s fundraising events has been used to buy 3 new laptops for our children to use and enjoy. Please note that the events run by the Parents Council are with the support of the school but are not run by the school. So if you have any queries about an event, please contact a committee member, not the school.
